Bardolino’s area of production can be divided into two zones. Bardolino has a ruby-red colour which turns into carnet red while ageing, or rosé for Claret. Bardolino wine which is bottled within December 31st belongs to a vintage that had the grapes required can be considered Novello (New) because of its elegant and intense fruity colour.

Lake Garda’s olive oil

Vineyards and olive trees dominate the rural landscape of Lake Garda’s eastern riviera. The olive tree is considered as the undisputed lord in the northern part. The southern part is the kingdom of the vineyard, where you can find some olive trees here and there. Nowadays Lake Garda’s extra-virgin olive oil holds the European DOP brand, denomination of protected origin.

It is a characteristic kind of oil because it is light, easy to digest and has delicate fruity tones: a little jewel.
